Congratulations To Anuj Agrawal!!
Anuj Agrawal, TY student of Elec. and Telecommu. (EXTC) at SGGSIET, has brought laurels to the institute on a national level. With the guidance of his mentors, coupled with own hard work and determination. He has achieved success in the highly competitive Linux Foundation Mentorship LFX Program. As a reward, he has been granted a stipend of ₹2.5 lakh (approximately $3,000) for a 12-week (three months) duration.
This achievement is particularly noteworthy due to the extremely high difficulty level of the selection process. The competition demands the utmost technical skills from the students to make it through. In this global competition, less than 5% of applicants are selected, with most of the selections traditionally coming from students studying at prestigious institutions and IITs. Anuj Agrawal, a TY student at SGGS Institute, has been selected for the LFX Program Mentorship Term-3, 2024, and is one of only two students from Maharashtra to be chosen for this program. Anuj will be working on a prestigious Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) project. Typically, around 100 to 150 students are selected globally, with 25 to 30 students from India. Anuj Agrawal received guidance and support from the institute’s Director, Dr. Manesh B. Kokare, along with professors from the Electronics and Telecommunications department.
